Being a lawyer allows me to help those who are unable to help themselves. It also gives me the chance to work with organizations, such as PAG-ASA, that put the promotion and protection of human rights at the heart of everything they do. For several years, Stibbe has worked with PAG-ASA and provided pro bono legal aid to victims of human trafficking. I experienced this first-hand by advising them, helping them, and making a difference in their lives and in society.

We are committed to fulfilling our corporate social responsibility

As a leading law firm, we believe we must act in a way that aligns our organization’s practice and vision with philanthropic intent. For this reason, CSR is an integral part of our company culture and corporate strategy. We have defined clear principles and initiatives to fulfil our part as a corporate citizen.

For society at large, we invest our time and effort in pro bono work that is socially and legally relevant and impactful. Every year, our partners and associates actively handle pro bono matters, either free of charge or at significantly reduced rates. They take on cases that make a real difference to individuals and to local and national organizations. We are proud that our lawyers can help those in need.

For local communities, we sponsor and support them in their social, cultural, and scientific initiatives. Stibbe has been a loyal partner of charitable, humanitarian, and non-profit organizations such as ToekomstATELIERdelAvenir, PAG-ASA, and the ICT Law Incubator project (part of the European Law Incubator project iLINC). Every year, everyone at Stibbe takes part in goodwill events and various public charity fundraisers.

For the environment, we have guidelines for an environmentally friendly office in place, and we inspire our people to change the way they act in an open office setting and their lifestyle habits.

For our people, our culture of diversity and inclusion is based on three pillars:

1: A diverse workforce that reflects the clients and communities we serve.

2: A culture of inclusion where every Stibbe member is welcome and empowered to be themselves.

3: An ongoing commitment to gender balance in departments and leadership positions.
